I was planning to post something interesting we’d done with Windows VMs recently. Sadly Windows has a way of confounding you at the last minute, failing with no useful error information. So that’ll have to wait.

- Cooking: Cooking Issues (blog of the New York French Culinary Institute)
- Weird/Funny/Japanese: Jamie Zawinski’s blog, Pinktentacle, Asobi Tsuchya’s blog (sometimes NSFW if your workplace cares about such things, mine doesn’t), Extra Last, B3ta, Lovely Listing, Don’t Even Reply.
With all this brilliant free writing being done, it’s no wonder newspapers are going out of business.
