I am Richard W.M. Jones, a computer programmer. I have strong opinions on how we write software, about Reason and the scientific method. Consequently I am an atheist [To nutcases: Please stop emailing me about this, I'm not interested in your views on it] By day I work for Red Hat on all things to do with virtualization. I am a "citizen of the world".
My motto is "often wrong". I don't mind being wrong (I'm often wrong), and I don't mind changing my mind.

Hi Rich,
I am trying to create a docker base image with supermin. In febootstrap, it was created with commands like this:
febootstrap rhel rhel ftp://somesite.with.rhel.release.cd.image
How do I create the same thing with supermin? If it’s not possible, then how can I install febootstrap from source. It seems I can’t find it anywhere.
I think it’s a really bad idea to use either febootstrap or supermin to create Docker base images. However for creating chroots using supermin, see the instructions here: https://rwmj.wordpress.com/2014/03/08/supermin-version-5/
